The social giant’s IPO is a thing of the past and it’s now time for another makeover for its users. Facebook has begun to roll out its new timeline redesign to select few users. The changes are subtle but noticeable as elements such as names, home location, occupation, education, and other basic information will lay over the “cover photo”.
Other changes include a whole new tab called “Summary” which is a one-stop summary of the user’s major events. The “Likes” tab is now called “Favorites”. Also, other tabs such as “Friends”, “Photo” and “Map” have all been consolidated to a shorter space just below the cover photo. See below to see the changes.
